Vehicle description
Fantastic opportunity to get your very own fun Bavarian roadster, just in time to take full advantage of the summer and autumn seasons! This BMW Z4 3.0si is the top-of-the-line, non-M option. With it, you get just about every option available except for xenon headlights, and comes in the classic red-on-black color formula. The N52 inline six engine is one of the best BMW has produced, and here it is mated to a crisp 6-speed manual transmission sitting on top of a chassis so well engineered its torsional rigidity rivals some supercars. Whether you are taking it along windy mountain roads or the coastal highway, every exhaust rumble and burble when you lift off the throttle will put a huge grin on your face! This particular Z4 has a clean and clear title. No accidents; meticulously cared for inside, outside, and under the hood. The engine is butter smooth, shifts are clean and precise, and the steering is laser sharp. Convertible top is in great shape and functions flawlessly, and the car has seen rain 3 times at most under my watch. Service history since mile 7776 is available; that’s over 90000 miles worth of maintenance records. Always garaged indoors and hooked up to a trickle charger any time it sits for more than 3 days. All services up to date, even preventive maintenance. This roadster needs nothing aside from a new owner that can spend more time driving it and enjoying all it has to offer. Maintenance History: Oil changed every 7500 miles, synthetic only, double the frequency of BMW’s recommended intervals All fluids have been changed, including: coolant, transmission, differential, and brakes. The car has electric steering, no power steering fluid there to change. New serpentine belt. The engine uses a timing chain so no belt there to change. New water pump and thermostat. AC recharged at the same time. New VANOS solenoids. New oil cooler and filter gaskets during the most recent oil change. PCV valve heater recall performed at BMW of Seattle. Tires and brakes in great condition. Brake lines were upgrade to PVC-coated braided-stainless lines. Paintwork is protected with 2-coats Jescar synthetic sealant. Service history since mile 7776. Main Features: 3.0 liter BMW N52 engine with 255HP / 220 lb-ft torque to the rear wheels. Fuel economy: 20 city / 30 highway, I average 26.4-26.7 consistently. 6-speed manual transmission with M-Sports shifter. Original shifter is available, but the M shifter is newer and the shifts feel better. M-Sports seats and Sports Mode with sharper throttle and steering responses. One-push button operated convertible top. 3-stage seat heaters and air conditioning for driving top-down on 40˚F days. Dynamic Stability Control with ABS. Navigation system. Automatic headlights. Bluetooth phone connectivity (no streaming though, but the car provides its own music). Rain sensing wipers. It’s there but you’ll probably very rarely use it. A surprisingly large trunk – you can easily pack golf clubs or luggage for two for a road trip in it. Both OEM carpet and rubber floor mats. Front tow-hook license plate holder. Tow-hook cover is available if you choose to remove the plate holder. Battery is hardwired to interface with CTEK trickle chargers. Two keys and owner’s manual binder. Enough ground clearance to use the upper levels on Washington State Ferries. And because a bright red roadster isn’t obnoxious enough, there’s an authentic Austrian autobahn vignette in the corner of the windshield for extra flair.
