2007 BMW 335i N54 Twin Turbo Southern car since coming up to Indiana in 2019. Work includes a full suspension refresh using OEM components along with a series of tasteful and necessary modifications made to turn this car into a true "sleeper". It has been almost exclusively dealer maintained before my ownership and has had all fueling system recalls completed by BMW including HPFP and Injectors. The turbochargers are stock and have no rattle, leakage or smoking. There was evidence of a return drain leak that was present when I inspected, however this is indicative of a leaky PCV valve, not necessarily a bad turbo(s) as BMW so frequently and inappropriately recommends. The Billet PCV replacement valve has remedied this issue. The car is an absolute anomaly of mechanical maintenance. It is difficult to find cars 3 years old this clean and well sorted. I can provide a copy of the CarFax presented to me when I purchased it showing an excellent maintenance history and southern ownership. Since being in my possession it has been garaged kept in a climate controlled setting and never driven in the snow. Please see below for a summary of the work completed. Some facts about the 07: True Twin Turbo N54 Engine Large Pumpkin Differential (Shared with Z8, E39 540i) Ability to Fully Disable Traction Control (Inc. Active Differential) o If not familiar with Wavetrac, please research. It is designed to perform with and without factory traction control systems. In later 335i"s the computer controlled "active differential" (brake torque distribution) could not be fully disabled without custom module coding. The 07"s were factory coded to allow for full deactivation of all systems which allows the Wavetrac to perform all traction distribution, giving the most predictable traction situation. Notable Modifications: Custom Quantum 340 LPH Fuel Pump Upgrade. Retains stock bucket & return, minus siphon to provide maximum flow. Precision Raceworks AN6 Fuel Line Upgrade Kit + Continental E85 Sensor & Spool E85 BT Interface OEM BMW 3.5 BAR TMAP Sensor & BMS Adapter (supports boost above 20 psi, improved resolution) Billet BMS PCV Valve (allows for complete sealing of system under boost, critical to engine & turbo health) MHD Flashed ECU Stage 1+ E50 (Datazap.me Logs Available) This is MHD’s most efficient offering with stock turbos. It targets 17-18 psi boost with increase timing due to the ethanol. Many tuners and owners will run 19-20 psi on the stock units which simply wears them out and blows heat. ATM 3.5" High Flow Race Exhaust, Full Stainless. Car has stock catted downpipe installed and is flashed to include them….Will include 3” race pipes. Rogue Engineering Transmission Mounts Bar & Plate High Flow, Stepped Intercooler w/ OEM Connections Wavetrac ATB Differential Whiteline Solid Rear Sub Frame & Diff Kits xHP Flashed Stage 3 TCU Software (removes tq. However, t he 513M set-up saves approx. 25lbs per corner of un-sprung weight and dramatically changes the dynamics of the car. At current tune level the car is nearly undrivable under boost with the stock set. Make no mistake this car is a handful while on the E50 tune, not recommended for the inexperienced. It will easily break the 10" wide rear Michelins free while in-motion on dry pavement. If you like this type of thing, you will not be disappointed. I am moving onto my next project and ready to let this go to the right buyer. Some of the prominent BMW Factory Options Include: Sport Suspension Package High Speed Synchronization Logic 7 Sound System Full HID Lighting Package Interior and Exterior are both in excellent condition reflecting the low mileage and excellent care history. Last fall I had the front bumper cover professionally refinished, installed gloss black kidney grills and trimmed the lower valance to expose the front brake cooling ducts and aftermarket intercooler. 2-Keys and original BMW books included.
