2006 VW Jetta Diesel. Made before the VW diesel scandal started in 2009. 1.9 Liter Direct injection turbo diesel engine with DSG tiptronic 6 speed dual clutch automatic transmission. Engine runs well and transmission shifts smoothly and have no known issues. Car has had $10,974 of repairs and maintenance performed on it in the last 4 years I have receipts for and a few items other items above that dollar amount I don"t have receipts to show. Just had almost $3,000 in repairs in the last week including the timing belt, water pump, fuel pump seal, valve cover gasket and new vent, EGR delete, ECU tuned, rear rotors, brake pads, all of the brake fluid replaced, engine oil and filter changed, new hubcaps, and some coolant hoses and coolant leaks fixed. A partial list of previous items repaired or replaced are: flywheel, timing belt, water pump, serpentine belt, belt tensioner, glow plugs, all 4 wheel hubs, all 4 suspension springs, rear shocks, all 4 tires, all 4 brake pads, alternator twice, battery, both front drive shafts, mass air flow sensor, head liner, transmission fluid service, many oil changes with 100% synthetic oil, new door and ignition key programmed by the dealer, many new suspension parts, wiper blades, heater blower motor, head light lens, headlight bulbs, radiator flushed and new coolant, new power window control, and other smaller items. It has 17" aluminum rims with 245/45/R17" snow tires mounted on them. The snow tires are Michelin have about 40% tread left on them. I have a set of 16" factory steel wheels, on it now, with 205/55/R16 with less than 5,000 miles on 4 brand new tires with 4 plastic hub caps I purchased new. The picture of the stack of papers is the receipts for the work done on the car and go with the car. The aluminum rims have some peeling finish, body of the car has some rust starting to bubble around the fenders and the bottom edges, paint has some scuffs or chips with some being touched up, driver seat has some small cracks, and there is one small 1/2" long split in dash on passenger side. The rest of the car is in good shape for the age. Paint is bright and glossy as you can see from the pictures. This is my daily drive and mileage will go up as time goes on.
