Vehicle description
Selling a 2006 Pontiac GTO I"ve had the last few years. It has been a great car and is lightly modified. I purchased it completely stock and did the modifications. In my opinion, the mods eliminated the "sluggish" feeling of the stock GTO. List of modifications is below:
Kooks 1 7/8" stainless steel headers
Kooks stainless steel high-flow cats and 3" mid-pipes
Vararam over the radiator cold air intake
Tein lowering springs
KYB shocks
Whiteline plus sway bar endlinks/bushing
Russell Stainless steel brake lines
Rear O2 sensors turned off due to high flow cats
It has 61,xxx miles and is a 6 speed manual. The interior is in excellent condition. The exterior is the Brazen Orange Metallic color and has some hail damage, which is minor in appearance in my opinion, but was appraised at $3160 to be fixed. It happened a while back and I decided to not get it fixed . There are a lot of rock chips from the highway I drive daily and there is a marble sized ding on the passenger quarter panel from a rock also from the highway.
The car is very reliable and I have never had any issues with it. I turned off the rear O2 sensors with HP Tuners because the headers caused a check engine light (this is common). After adding the headers and intake I hooked it up to a wideband and it was running a rock solid A/F ratio so I never changed the tune. The tune is completely stock with the exception of the O2 sensors turned off. I don"t have any of the parts that were removed from the car as a result of the modifications.
Tires are about 70% and there is a slight rubbing due to the lowering springs when turning uphill. Alignment was performed after spring installation. I have put 10,000 miles on the tires this way and have never noticed a wear issue.
There is no lien on the car, the title is clean and ready to be signed over. The car is sold as-is and the buyer is responsible for all applicable laws. I have never had it emissions tested because it is not required where I live. I did check the readiness monitors and it has an incomplete O2 sensor monitor due to the post cat O2 sensors turned off. If shipping, keep in mind the car is lowered approximately 1". I am willing to drive up to 50 miles to drop it off at a shipping location.
