Vehicle description
For sale is my 2006 GMC Sierra 2500 HD duramax 6.6L LBZ with Allison 6 speed and a few mods. It"s the SLT, so it has the good stuff like heated seats and leather. Replaced the radio with an aftermarket touchscreen, and top of the line JBL speakers. I have the tweeters too, but haven"t gotten around to installing them.
The goods:
BRAND NEW injection pump from Industrial Injection (42% over)
EFi live 5 position switch
PPE tie rods (inner and outer, much more heavy duty)
MOOG Sway bar links
Transfer case (under warranty until January, 20k miles on it)
Alligator performance trans cooler lines (stock ones are crap)
ATS performance rear diff cover
ATS performance trans pan
PPE trans cooler (40% larger than stock)
Edge CTS II gauges (reads DTCs/ IBRs)
Nearly ZERO blow by.
2 micron CAT fuel filter (5-7 microns are awful)
Mobil 1 Synthetic oil ONLY since I"ve owned it
Diesel Kleen run through the tank every other fill up
Welded water pump (the stock ones leak, replaced 10k ago)
EGR delete
Sinister intercooler pipe
NGK glow plugs last winter
No bubbles in coolant
5" mbrp straight pipe
4" Down pipe
Turbo is stock but I"ll throw in a BRAND NEW aurora 3000 turbo. ($3000 value)
Tractor Supply Company tool box (still under warranty for 2 years)
ATS performance intake
Ranch Hand front bumper
Gooseneck hitch
Bilstein 5100 shocks on all 4 corners (10k ago)
New brake rotors, pads, calipers (front and rear)
BFG KO2 tires at 90% tread and brand new spare
I"m sure there"s probably more I"m forgetting
The not so great:
Truck bed definitely isn"t perfect
236k miles (will go up, still breaking her in)
Slight coolant leak. Not sure where it"s coming from.
That said, she"s a great truck. I drove her to Corpus Christi and averaged 23 MPG over 1000 miles, but I never drove over 65 (wanted to make sure the revs were nice and low, keeps her in better shape)
