2006 Ford Taurus for sale by owner. Car is in fair condition and passed its latest safety inspection a few months ago, but AAA has told us it possibly needs a new fuel pump, and a mechanic friend advised it also needed a power steering fluid hose replaced. If you can do those two things, you will have a fantabulous ride on your hands!
Worth the price, even if only for parts. Why? Because at the beginning of 2015 I put in a brand new rebuilt transmission and have driven minimally (commuter car, groceries, the beach a few times) since. Brand-new air conditioning system put in, in 2011, blows nice and cold. Has a back catalytic converter. New spark plugs put on in 2016. New sway bars in 2016. New tires were put on at the same time and they still look pretty new. New starter January 2017.
Lots of value and would make an awesome island car or be perfect to part out for your Taurus project! I can"t get the dashboard to light up (we think it"s a fuse) but I think it was around 150k miles last time we drove it.
Power windows, power locks, intermittent wipers, cruise control, back seat folds down, LOTS of trunk space, AM/FM radio and cassette player.
I have all the paperwork of her repair history, and the clean title. The body is solid with regular wear on both it and the inside of the vehicle.
Registration was due September 30th, so it has lapsed less than 2 months. Asking $1,200 or best offer, cash only. Will not ship, you need to come get the car and pay either cash or via PayPal at the time you haul it away.
