Vehicle description
2006 Ford F-650 pickup. Only 59K miles. Has custom vinyl wrap flame graphics. 22.5 Alcoa wheels with nearly new Firestone FS561 295/75R22.5 tires (approx 7K miles on tires). Truck has 26K GVWR and hydraulic brakes, so no CDL or any special driver license required as long as you are not using for commercial. It was built on a new Ford cab and chassis by Manning Equipment in Louisville KY when it was new; one of the F-650 pickup conversion companies.
Here are some technical details:
*Cummins 5.9 24 valve common rail engine, with 300 hp rating. Has a small tuner that adds a little, so maybe 325 hp now.
*Allison 5 speed automatic trans, this is the 2000 series version as used in the medium duty trucks. It does not have park pawl like the lighter duty 1000 series as used behind the GM Duramax engines.
*Rear air ride suspension.
*Front conventional leaf spring suspension.
*Crew Cab is essentially the same as a 2006 Ford Super Duty truck, with small differences because it is a F650.
*Rear 8 ft bed is same as a 1-ton dually. Has an ARE fiberglass shell.
*Leather heated power front seats.
*Power windows.
*Power door locks with remote entry.
*Power adjustable extendable side mirrors.
*Cruise Control.
*Rear view camera, which I added because the stock rear view mirror looking out is so high it is nearly useless.
*Very loud air train horns added. These will get anybody"s attention.
*20K rated rear hitch.
*Electric brake controller inside cab for electric trailer brakes.
*Dual 65 gallon fuel tanks, it can go well over 1200 miles even when loaded up.
*I get about 12 mpg truck alone driving at 75 mph. Loaded with trailer is 9-11 mpg depending on trailer size and weight.
Overall real good condition. DEF or DPF are not required, it only has EGR. Pre-2007 emissions, this only needs diesel fuel. Runs and rides great. You will get a lot of attention with this truck, everyone likes it so get used to compliments and questions from people when you drive it. I used to have a 26 ft enclosed trailer I sometimes pulled with this truck, sold that enclosed trailer and now it pulls my open car trailer like nothing is back there. I just don"t need this big of a truck anymore.
