About this vehicle This 2006 Ford Freestar is an original. The owner has had it for 5+ years. The vehicle is drivable and is used as a daily driver. Seller"s Notes Exterior Interior The tires have lots of tread (just got brand new set put on before it started having the battery drain problem). It was regularly taken to dealership or other mechanic shop for repairs and maintenance, transmission was replaced by dealership, Air blows cold, heat blows hot, 6 disc CD player, am/fm radio, tinted windows, Interior is in VERY GOOD shape! Loved it when it was the main vehicle, it drove great and fast, back row folds down and middle seats fold down or can be easily removed to allow plenty of space for moving/hauling large items/furniture, and great for transporting kids. Something keeps draining the battery, have replaced battery 4 times, alternator has been replaced twice and the battery still drains. will drive it for a week or two and then it won’t start, but once it gets a jump or battery charged it starts right up.KNOWN PROBLEMS: Some rust (as noted in pictures), the led information display on the cluster which shows mileage and miles to empty and other basic info works/illuminates intermittently but the mileage is about 140,000 miles, something keeps draining the battery, believe there is a small hole/leak in the exhaust from sitting so long, it’s NOT obnoxiously loud but louder than normal, believe brake pads need to be replaced (bought some but haven’t put them on), has a small oil leak, one of the sliding doors doesn’t glide as smooth as the other (like it needs some wd40 sprayed on the track). That’s everything that we know is wrong with the van, it has been sitting for the majority of last 3 years and is no longer the main vehicle, so for sale AS IS! I am in Omaha, NE.
