2006 BMW E60 M5 The M5 was introduced with an uneven firing V10 engine and was cast in the same foundry as the F1 motors (won multiple World Engine of the Year awards) and 7 speed sequential manual gearbox linking the car with the BMW Sauber Formula One program . This M5 was the world"s first production sedan to feature a V10 gas engine. It’s equipped with a 7 speed sequential manual gearbox (SMG III). Please note this M5 was both the quickest and fastest 4-door sedan in the world at the time of its release. This car comes equipped with the “Power” button (to unleash the V10’s full 500bhp from 400bhp on start). The SMG double-clutch semi-automatic transmission has the option of changing to either automated or manual, as well as the speed at which shifts are completed (there are 11 shift programs in total, forming what BMW calls Drivelogic ) Comes with color heads up display featuring navigation, control messages, speed, rpm and gear selection information, automated seat side bolsters, heated/ventilated seats and power rear curtain. EDC selects damper settings, (shift speed adjustments) and the traction/stability control functions are fully removable with the DSC button. (Dynamic Stability control) Heated and cooled seats. Rear seats are heated as well. Active Controlled Seats. (The seat bolsters hug your body perfectly and stiffen automatically when you turn corners. Very coo feature! All works perfectly.
