| “2006 BMW 325ixT Sport Wagon with Sport Package. The clean title and 89,900 miles in 12 years - it pretty much says it all. It is not easy to find a BMW E91 wagon with so few miles on it. Before me, the car was owned by an elderly guy who didn't seem to put much stress on it. The body is in a very good condition, I would give it 8 out 10 with some minor dents here and there but no major scratches. It was professionally polished and looks spectacular in direct sunlight. It was checked by an independent local BMW specialist in April 2018 and no major issues were found: they recommended replacing the steering rods and drive belt which was done in June; all fluids replenished, motor oil changed in July, 2018 at Passport BMW dealership.” |

2006 BMW 325ixT Sport Wagon with Sport Package, including the Sport Seats (the best in business), the steering wheel, and “Spider" design rims shed with fresh 225/45/R17 non-RFT rubber, for better comfort (installed October 2018, Kumho Ecsta 4X II). The clean title and 90,100 miles in 12 years - it pretty much says it all. It is not easy to find such an E91 wagon. Before me, the car was owned by an elderly guy who didn"t seem to put much stress on it. The body is in a very good condition, I would give it 8 out 10 with some minor dents here and there but no major scratches. It was mildly polished and looks spectacular in direct sunlight. The engine is N52 inline-six with 215 hp. You can barely hear it when it is on, it is so well balanced. And well, it is a fast car which is easy to control whatever the weather, thanks to the all-wheel drive set-up. The car was checked by an independent local BMW specialist in April 2018 and no major issues were found: they recommended replacing the steering rods and drive belt which was done in June, as well as the wheel alignment; all fluids replenished, motor oil changed in July 2018 at a Passport BMW dealership: they detected a minor crack on one the wheels – which was replaced with a new one (now serves as a spare, with its OEM RFT tire). The beige leather interior is clean, with new BMW rubber floor mats in front (also beige). The driver’s seat shows its age, but its sturdy leather is in good condition, no dents or scars. All passenger seats are as good as new.
It is a BMW over 75,000 miles on it so it will require new front struts and control arm bushings down the road if you want it to drive like a new BMW. If I keep the car, I plan to do these replacements in half a year ($700/local shop). But struts, shocks, and bushings are OK for now. There has also been an issue with the adaptive headlight on the passenger side: it needs a new Adaptive Headlight Drive Control Unit following a mishap while changing one of the bulbs when it rained (water got in and that unit got boiled). I have the part and need to install it. Currently the adaptive headlight on the passenger’s side is not properly aligned, but headlamps themselves work. Another issue includes key fobs which work on and off – likely due to a damaged wire which connects the diversity antenna in the rear spoiler to the central locks. The car has Getaround Connect installed which opens/closes it from the phone app just fine. The repair itself will require some skills but it should not be a difficult one.
