Being sold for parts or repair as-is. Known problems are described below. This is ideal for a Volvo mechanic to put some effort into and have good running vehicles. You will likely need to put the wagon on a flatbed truck. The car does run and drive but it needs transmission work - I brought it in for a transmission mechanic to look at and he said it at least needs a transmission valve job done but could not guarantee that is all it needs (about a $1,500 job) so I decided to sell the car with this known problem. The car drives in a "safe" mode - I believe in 3rd gear and I"ve only gone about 15 miles or so in any one drive and not over 45 miles per hour. The engine and the rest of the car works fine. Tires are practically new and wheels are in good shape. Interior is good as well - relatively clean and comfortable. Not sure if the AC is working but it was prior to last fall when the transmission began giving me problems.

1. It has around 148,00 miles.
2. The wagon needs transmission work if not a rebuild or new transmission. Late last summer it slipped out of 1st and 3rd gear. It does this when it is hot. The transmission mechanic told me it runs in "safe" mode (3rd gear I believe).
3. The passenger side mirror is damaged but functional.
4. I just replaced the spark plugs.
5. Tires are pretty new and have alot of tread on them. Rims are in good shape.
6. Title is in my name.
