Trying this one more time, helping my sister sell her 2005 Scion xA White on Black Cloth. 49,491 Miles. Sold as-is. My sister used it mostly commuting for college and then for short trips within Bergen County. The Good:
It"s clean, runs, and low miles.
24-28 mpg (city/highway)
seats 4 plus 4 backpacks
tires are good. 60-70% left
insurance is cheap
takes regular gas
low maintenance
no rust. The Bad:
Because it sits here for about 1-2 weeks without being driven, it needs a new battery. There is an EVAP code and Cylinder 1 misfire. All easy fixes for a mechanic and 3-4 hours of work. This is not a show car, it is for commuting or first car. iIf you really care about the looks, I suggest a new front and rear painted bumpers. KBB - has this car listed for $5-6k with the same mileage and similar condition. I put a fair condition model and higher mileage and it came out to more than $4,000. . If you check CarFax, there might be a police report on there for rear fender bender, an old lady hit my sister and it was just cosmetic damage, dent on the rear bumper. I have taken all the necessary cosmetic/mechanical stuff into account for the price. . no low ballers. Thank you.
