SIX SPEED NOT SMG, COUPE NOT CONVERTIBLE, CARBON BLACK OVER BLACK NAPPA, THIS IS THE SPEC TO HAVE IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR A CLEAN E46 M3 AS A FUTURE INVESTMENT! TEXT FOR LINK TO MORE PIX! I am the third owner and have owned it for the last 8 years since it had about 16,000 miles on it. I acquired it privately from the second owner in Connecticut who was a true enthusiast (like me) .The first owner parted with the car at around 7,000 miles due to his wife unfortunately passing away if I remember correctly. With the E46 M3 being considered by many the best M3 built after the E30 M3, this car will definitely become a classic in the very near future just as the E30 M3 has. Its value will only rise especially as the car becomes more rare in the future among the abused, neglected, and crashed examples. Furthermore, this M3 comes equipped with the most desirable options, making it stand out even more over other examples. It comes equipped with the 6 speed manual transmission instead of SMGII. This M3 is a coupe instead of a convertible, which again is the more desirable choice for enthusiasts and future collectors because of the lesser weight and the advantage this brings to the dynamics of the vehicle. Other options include: Premium Package consisting of a power glass moonroof, power seats w/driver memory, BMW Assist system & services, and Nappa Leather upholstery, Heated Front Seats, Xenon Headlights, Harman-kardon Sound System, Aluminum Trim, 19 Wheels. Aftermarket items include the original 19 wheels having been painted in gloss black in April of 2016, Supersprint exhaust, 3M 20% window tint, K40 laser diffuser custom installed, XM satellite radio, AUX input, 3M Scotchgard clear bra. Complete service records are available in a folder since the car was new from the first owner. Both keys, complete set of manuals, a original 2005 BMW M3 brochure, and the window sticker. Floormats are brand new as well and have been replaced October of 2016. New rear tires April 2016.
With that being said, the car did incur some regular wear and tear over the years which includes a couple of rust spots on the drivers side door sill, passenger side rear wheel well, and by the passenger side A-pillar. It has some hail dents and other very minor dents which amount to 4 - 8 total. The subframe was checked by KNAUZ BMW, a very trusted Chicagoland BMW dealer, when BMW issued the subframe recall at which point the vehicle had I believe around 50K miles. I am not sure the condition it is in currently. The suspension will probably need some attention for regular wear and tear at this mileage. The car does keep throwing an intermittent SES light from time to time after numerous attempts to solve it so codes will probably need to be read again to trace it down. I did try my best to price all of this in compared to similar examples currently out there.
