For Sale: 2005 E46 M3 Convertible - Only 69,500 miles!
S54 3.2 Liter Inline-6 333hp / 262lb- ft of torque 6-Speed Manual Transmission Desirable 19" OEM BMW M3 Wheels HID Lighting Heated Seats
These cars are now considered a modern classic and beginning to appreciate in value! I"m selling my extremely nice, one-owner, low-mileage, unmolested, completely factory, 6speed, convertible M3.
Exterior is 9/10: All original Alpine White paint. The car has never been in an accident. It shows very well with no fade, a great shine, and very minimal wear on the front bumper. The only notable blemish is a small dent on the front side of the rear passenger wheel arch. I have not attempted to PDR this area. I can have this area looked at by a very good PDR shop that I"ve used in the past for a potential buyer. The wheels are OEM factory from BMW and are absolutely perfect! No curb marks or chips. The headlights are nice and clear with no cloudiness. All glass is perfect. The convertible top is original and in spectacular condition with no tears, unraveling, or fading. The car has always been garage kept.
Interior is 9/10: The car has been well protected and it shows! The seats are in great shape considering the year and mileage. Only minimal wear showing on the driver"s side bolster. If you"ve ever driven one of these cars before, you know that the seats have deep bolstering and hold you very tightly. It"s nearly impossible to avoid the high bolster when getting out, but I"ve always tried to avoid unnecessary rubbing. The dash is in perfect condition, as is the steering wheel, radio controls, lock button, window switches, etc. Floor mats are also in great condition with no notable heal marks. The only other points of wear are light rubbing on the 6-speed shifter, a few nail scratches on the compartment in front of the shifter, and the door handles. These are all very common. Truly hard to avoid affecting these pieces. A/C, Heat, Radio, Convertible Operation, Sport Mode, Windows, all the features etc. are all working perfect.
Drivetrain is 10/10: Absolutely perfect! Never an issue. Incredibly smooth and powerful. The car drives as if it were a new car. No oil leaks and never an issue with the VANOS system. The 6-Speed is WAY more desirable than the SMG automatic. No SMG faults and/or rebuilds! This is a huge deal because often the SMG problems are the most costly expenses associated with any repairs to these cars. A quick google will vouch for that. The original factory clutch in the car is very smooth, responsive, and has never once slipped. It"s great. No issues. The shifting experience is spot on as it should be from the factory. Never any driveline vibrations. No braking issues. Stops great and straight. The suspension is very tight. No clunking or anything like that. Literally drives like a brand new BMW. New tires within the last 2 years. The is plenty of life left with no unusual wear.
I think I"ve covered most everything. But message me with any questions or for a video of the car.
The car truly is a tremendous value. Quite a car for sub-$20k. Make me an offer.
