Two Owner - ‘05 M3 – Imola Red – 6 speed – Stock and unmodified – VANOS and Subframe DONE
For sale is my 2005 Imola Red on Black M3 with a factory manual transmission. I acquired it in December 2015. The original owner was from Miami and moved to Nashville as a medical student at Vanderbilt. I have added approximately 3,000 miles during my ownership and have performed a substantial amount of maintenance and preventative maintenance to the vehicle. Odometer currently sits at 105,881.
To state upfront – the VANOS and Subframe (RACP) have been repaired/locked down/resolved.
Here is the list of all of the components I have replaced within the last 3,000 miles. Everything was replaced with OE parts or equivalent unless otherwise stated. I have a 2 inch binder full of all of the repair records, receipts, and the original window sticker.
ENGINE
• Beisan S54 VANOS rattle repair kit
• Beisan S54 VANOS seals kit
• Beisan S54 VANOS sealing plate repair kit
• Beisan S54 VANOS solenoid coil pack
• Beisan S54 VANOS oil pump disk
• OE BMW upgraded diaphragm springs (facelift S62 VANOS springs)
• Lang Racing S54 VANOS sprocket bolts
• OE BMW S54 exhaust upper chain guide
• Valves adjusted within spec (measurement sheet in binder) at 103,xxx
• New OE BMW coolant reservoir
• New OE BMW coolant reservoir hose
• OE fuel filter
• OE engine air filter
• NGK DCPR8EKP spark plugs x6
• OE valve cover gasket
• OE spark plug tube gasket x6
• Mechanical fan delete – SPAL fan installed in place and wired into factory circuit (cycles on and off with engine temperature signal)
CHASSIS
• New OE engine mounts
• New OE front control arm bushings
• New OE rear trailing arm bushings with limiters • New OE upper and lower rear ball joints
• New OE subframe bushings
• New OE muffler hangers
• New OE inner and outer tie rods • New OE front differential mount bushing
• VINCE RACP weld-in kit (front and rear) (all cavities sprayed with 3M cavity wax for rust protection and top and bottom seam sealed, 2K primed, and painted. Trunk painted Imola Red and chassis underneath painted matching E-Coat to BMW.
• Redish Motorsport RACP reinforcement plates
• Four wheel alignment completed within last 500 miles
EXHAUST
• New stainless steel hardware on section 1 and section 2 exhaust components.
• New gaskets between section 1 and section 2.
DRIVETRAIN
• New OE guibo
• New OE center support bearing
• New OE shifter cup
• New OE shifter bushings (all)
• Rogue Engineering transmission mounts
• OE 330d shifter arm
• ZHP shift knob
CODING
• M Track Mode
• Shift lights (red LED installed at top of lighted tach so all LEDs light up red when at redline)
• European hazard lights
• Retain settings on climate control upon shut off and restart
• One-touch rear windows
COSMETICS
• Wheels refinished, new OE BMW center caps, and new tires installed within last 1,000 miles
• Interior trim repainted BMW Individual Ruby Black Metallic (stock brushed aluminum trim will be included)
INTERIOR
• Refurbished oval mirror (no leaks with immediate dimming action)
• New OE BMW / /M3 floor mats
• Driver and passenger airbag replaced under recall by BMW of Nashville in October 2018
• Headliner recovered with factory material
• All door panel clips replaced with new OE BMW clips with foam washer
• New battery
• New OE BMW center console
EXTERIOR
• All painted surfaces polished and coated with CQuartz UK and CQuartz GLISS • All glass surfaces coated with CQuartz FlyByForte
