For sale is a 2005 Acura MDX full-size SUV. It is in good shape. We are downsizing, and we do not need a large SUV anymore for the purpose of hauling kids and stuff around.
FEATURES: (1) Power Sunroof/Moonroof (2) Running Boards (3) Cargo Roof Rack (4) Cargo Cover (5) seating for up to 8 (6) Heated Leather Seats (7) Power Seats (8) AM/FM CD (9) Backup Assist (sonar beepers) (10) Trip Calculator (11) stability control (12) AWD (13) Front and Side air bags (14) two sets of keys, two remotes, and a valet key (15) Garage Door Opener (16) Bluetooth Phone Connection (17) Front and rear climate control (18) Accident Free.
The brakes are very good. I just had a rear caliper replaced along with rear pads. Tires are in excellent shape. All electronics work, and there are no dashboard warning lights. We have owned the vehicle for 6 years, and have always used Synthetic or Synthetic blend oil. The vehicle has never been in an accident. It is great in the snow as the size and traction control make you feel safe.
Although the mileage is high, the engine is solid as the Honda/Acura 6 cylinder engines cannot be beat. The transmission is fine. There are no leaks, no smoke, and should be no worries. The battery is about 2 1/2 years old. The leather interior is in really good shape. There is just a drop of paint on the driver"s seat.
Now, on the other side. I have a wonky TPMS sensor. I cannot tell which wheel it is, but it appears after 5-10 miles, stays on for a while, then goes off. It"s been this way for the past 4 years. I just haven"t been able to figure out which sensor it is.
The resonator in the exhaust is working but it is starting to go. It sounds like a Kawasaki motorcycle when accelerating. The resonator pipe is around $100 or so on eBay. The heat shield on the exhaust rattles upon acceleration as well. The body has some rust spots as you can see from the picture. The Acuras from those years have a tendency to rust in those areas, at least up here in the snow belt. I"ll even throw in a snow brush that reaches all spots on the SUV.
