Up for sale is a great reliable Tacoma 4X4. I am the third owner of the vehicle purchased in 2008. I am selling the vehicle for the current owner (my father). Driving a manual in traffic can be difficult for my father (which is why it is being sold). Vehicle has been on light dirt trails off road, and never abused by me. AC works great. This truck has been a great vehicle to own, a pleasure to own and it will be missed when sold. Things that have been replaced: (OEM lower ball joints before I purchased vehicle via recall, I also replaced both lower ball joints in May 2019 with OEM, upgraded to 199 mm tundra calipers and disc ~ 5 years ago, all coils and spark plugs replaced with denso products less than 10 thousand miles ago, OEM fuel filter replaced ~ 3 years ago, 80 thousand mile Bridgestone dueler HT tires (4) from Discount tires ~ 3 years ago, Tire carrier replaced via recall ~ 5 years ago, OEM coolant, thermostat and new radiator hoses ~ 4 years ago, KYB rear and front shocks replaced ~5 years ago, carrier bearing replaced ~3 years ago, Oil/filter replaced with mobile 1 every 5 thousand miles during my ownership. Battery replaced in the last couple of years. Alignment done after both lower ball joints recently replaced. I also have spare parts that come with the vehicle for preventative maintenance : 2 OEM upper ball joints, 1 set starter contacts, 1 set alternator brushes. front differential drain bolt/washer. Both front windows with ceramic tint on them that does a great job of reducing heat from the sun. The vehicle was involved in a low speed accident involving left rear quarter panel of the bed back in 2010. No accident involvement of the frame/axle. Insurance managed repair but overtime clear coat has peeled (see photos). A couple of issues: there is some occasional drop in engine RPM from 750 to 600-500 RPM when at a stop light with AC on over the past 4 months. Vehicle has never stalled. CD player does not work. I would feel confident in driving across the country in this vehicle. There appears to be a cigarette burn in the drivers seat when I bought vehicle. The vehicle does have very minimal surface rust on frame and has been inspected by several toyota dealers and no issues related to the frame.
