AS IS: You are bidding on a 2004 Subaru Forester XT. It has an Automatic transmission which will need work (disclosed). Engine has approx 180K miles on it. I bought the car in 2019 with the intent of 6 speed swapping it. However after an on the job injury, and 2 years later, this is the least of my problems. However, there are a few things that I did get done with the vehicle. Firstly the leather interior is in exceptional shape considering its age, the carpet is good, with exception on the driver side (someone didn"t use floor mats, so the heal wore the carpet through). The front wheel bearings are new. Tires have 500+- miles on them. The windows have been tinted to GA legal specs. There is virtually no rust on this car, maybe a bolt here or there, but no body rust. I replaced both driver and passenger gussets, as well as both sides of the window seals. Tinted Windows. Hood liner. Headlight housings. The water tank for the turbo cooler is Grimspeed, as well as Grimspeed hood struts. Primal Skid Plate, will need to contact the company to get the bolts. The Passenger side front fender has a dent in it, it may be repairable, or just replace the fender. The transmission may very well be repairable. It was slipping, and it was recommended to replace the servos, so I did, then was injured at work not long after. The car has been sitting on my quick jacks in the garage since I have owned it. It will have a new battery in it, it does run. However, without the trans functioning, it isn"t drivable. I cannot put any more money into the car, and as I said before have bigger issues to tackle now. If it does not bring in what I anticipate, I will have no choice but to donate the car to charity. I would prefer that not happen, as the body and interior is in remarkable condition for its age and mileage. I would be remiss if I didn"t clearly state this is more a project car, and with some TLC could be given a second chance. No Warranty expressed or implied.
