I just bought a comfortable Mercedes e320 diesel because I have back pain and my sciatica is not liking it, hence my choice of tiptronic transmission. Yeah, but you say why tiptronic? This is a 2004 Porsche 996 911 Twin Turbo AWD cabriolet. Steptronic transmission with steering controls. 2004 had updated electronics. Comes with Hard Top. 45k miles and counting.
Clean title, in my hand and name. Vin # WP0CB29904S677015. I got this from my mature dentist who transitioned to a more comfortable ride. I’ve had it for 2+ years. No track or racing. Only occasional rides to Santa Cruz and back with wife or kids. I had my fun. I just bought a comfortable Mercedes e320 diesel which is easier to get in and out. Why tiptronic automatic transmission? We have a lot of traffic here. Well I can tell you that this can beat a manual in a drag race. In the twisties, stay on 2,3,4th gears and you won’t be able to tell the difference in the twists.
Exterior 8.5/10; interior 8.5/10. Black on black
Has history of accident. Previous owner Hit bicyclist on the right side. Professionally repaired.
Unfortunately last owner lost all service records from a fire. I had my own PPI done at Don Wise Porsche before I purchased it and can show copy with serious buyer.
PPI indicated worn out front R front drive axle boot leaking-replaced with new OEM unit.
Alternator not charging well. Repaired by replacing new stator.
Front chin spoiler scratched from sidewalk getting into driveway. Will replace with new one.
Rear spoiler not working due to hydraulic leak, common problem with 996, 997. Best to get fixed wing or an electric version as new rebuilt ones continue to leak. I did not fix this as it did not bother me.
PPI encouraged as needed at buyers expense.
Upgrades
Performance exhaust and tune by Sharkwerks. Adding about 75 hp and pushing turbos to 1.2 bar producing close to 500 hp and torque (stock 420 hp 415 torque)

My butt dyno feels like it can do 0-60 in 3.6-3.8 secs.
Oz 19” wheels with new tires (sorry sold the original turbo wheels).

I just replaced engine oil with synthetics 100 miles ago.
