Selling my daughters 2004 Mazda 3. It has a very strong running engine, shows it age with minor surface rust in some areas and does have the occasional small dent or ding. I am selling the car at a very discounted price because there is a issue with the transmission where it seems that the car does not know which gear it should be in at times. The car still runs and drives but needs a look at the transmission, right now it is not a daily driver but absolutely would be if the transmission issue were addressed. When driven in the sport mode, it does not show the problem as much because you can manually shift gears. That is the only mechanical issue that I know of with the car. The check engine light comes on occasionally but it has never affected the drivability of the car. The drivers seat needs to be re-stitched but otherwise has a nice leather interior. Whomever had the car before me rewired the headlights and put a anti sway bar in it and lowered the suspension. This was a car that I bought for my daughter to use at college and when she drove it home this Easter, that is when the transmission issue surfaced. The car is being sold in "as is" condition and I have hopefully identified things that I think should be disclosed before the sale.
