About this vehicle This 2004 Jeep Wrangler / Tj is a restored vehicle with updates to the exterior, interior and drivetrain. The owner has had it for 2 years. The vehicle runs great. Vehicle Details 1 of 55,497 ever built - the increasingly rare Jeep ‘LJ’ - is one amazing off-road platform. This ‘built’ LJ is ready to go Overlanding, Rock crawling, hit the Rubicon, or pop the top and head to the beach. This was a full body off restoration - starting with optioned out Special Edition (e.g. cruise control, compass/map light mirror, two tone dash, chrome grill cover in the garage). She has been freshly painted on exterior, tub raptor lined inside and out. Every upgrade, and then some is new less than 1,000 miles, ie tested :) Nicely built on 35s (minor tweaks to go to 37s), on new suspension, Rubicon Dana 44 front axle, dual Ox lockers and top of the line 4.88 gears profesionally installed. With the 6 speed manual, I expect well chosen 37s would perform well with this gear ratio. BFG has some new 37s in C rating, just released. * Rubicon front axle* is built/trussed & sleeved & c-gussets with Nitro Big Pinion upgrade kit and JK sized ring gear. RCV Axle shafts; naturally. Black Magic big brake kit, upgraded knuckles. Yukon manual hub conversion - going to 5x5.5 wheel pattern (stronger:bigger hub/bearings). Bearings seals, everything new. Springs are Old Man Emu (ARB) ~ 3.5”, and track bars/disconnects are quality JKS. That’s no stock hard top! New RallyTops 2 piece hard top (I’ve had these on two Jeeps, love em, no leaks, and being able to take off the front section by yourself in 3mins flat is fantastic). Has the sliding window upgrade, and the heavy duty, though easily removed (tool-less) roof rack upgrade. Look up what these cost new vs the crappy factory hard top. Rear axle upgraded to an 8.8; stronger than the Dana 44 original with bigger tubes, bigger ring & pinion gears, and upgraded with Yukon Chromoly shafts and c-clip eliminator kit - making it TJ width to boot. All new brake backing pads, black magic brakes, new rotors, seals, bearings, gears, locker etc. New Adam drive shafts… new Warn winch, new Metal cloak aluminum control arms. Aluminum skid plates from Undercover fab, and belly up. Savvy transfer case cable shifter. Cruises the highway effortlessly with impressive fuel economy, even carrying a roof top tent! Bearings, brakes, rad, hoses, water pump….all new. A/C is perfect, with new evap and condensor - did the heater core preemptively as well, even though it did not leak. All the little pesky things that you don’t want to fail out on the trail - have been done. EG water pump, thermostat, dampener, heater core, all new coolant hoses, fluids, transfer case shifter, radiator etc. etc. this LJ is turnkey. Exterior Overlander, or Crawler. She can be either. All quality parts. Fox resevoir adjustable shocks in rear. Interior Brand new never used seat covers that I put in all my Jeeps. There are no tears to the original seats. The custom Overland leather/wood steering wheel is a possible upgrade, *not included* in this listing. I will however throw it in free if my buy it now price is met. Factory cruise co trol.
