2004 Dodge Ram 1500 SLT 4x4 Quad Cab 4.7 Magnum V8, Automatic Transmission Daily driver Approaching 186,000 miles Tires less than 5,000 miles on them, installed around 12/1/17 Recent brakes and rotors all around Everything works as it should Tow Package Spray in Bedliner Running Boards Clear Title in Hand If you are looking for a reliable full size 4x4, look no further! I have had this truck for the past 27,000 miles. For the year and age this truck is in good condition, and despite some rust and minor cosmetic flaws it is a good looking truck. There are a couple blemishes in the interior but overall it is good as well. PLEASE SEE PICTURES! Should you come and look at it I would rather you be pleasantly surprised rather than disappointed.
Issues to note: Driver"s side rear door does not lock for some reason. It also will only open from the outside, the child safety lock is stuck somehow in place. Upon start up there is occasionally some lifter noise, which disappears upon warm up. It has done this the entire time I have owned it and has not gotten worse, and as stated, once warmed up it does not make unusual engine noise. Between oil changes it does lose some oil, due to a small leak which I have not had diagnosed. This is a good truck that I believe has more life left in it. It no longer makes sense for me however to drive a full size truck back and forth 90 miles a day, so it is time for me to get a commuter car that gets 30 mph.
