Vehicle description
Absolutely no expense spared. All new items on this car have been road tested over 800 miles. I wanted to be sure no issues would arise so I drove the car on and off for a few months. There were no problems or warning lights at all in that time!
No expense was spared for the rebuild on this engine. I have been a professional German car specialist for over 25 years. All timing chains, chain rails, chain tensioners, spark plugs, air filters, head gaskets, Head bolts, valves, valve guide seals, flywheel bolts, front and rear crank seals, valve cover gaskets, internal misc. seals and gaskets, clutch and clutch cover plate, ignition coils, engine and trans mounts, belt, belt tensioner and pulleys, and more.
Machine work on the engine was done by Apex Automotive Engineering in Bensenville, IL. to the tune of $2600.00.
Also new are the front and rear brake rotors and pads, tires, all fluids, new electronic key (also included is one valet key). New windshield and wipers. New custom rubber floor-mats.
* * * On December 30th I was hit in the right front door and fender. It looked like pretty minor damage as you can see in the rather poor picture with the guy in the Bulls jacket. This pic was taken immediately after the accident and I drove home. Insurance ended up calling it a total loss. After all the mechanical work I put in it there was no way they were going to take this car. * * * * * *
I have my clean title in my name. This is the title you will receive.
I found and installed a replacement front fender. All it would need is the door repaired, install the rocker panel and a few other parts that are included and you would never know it happened. The car drives fine as I have put about 30 miles on it getting it back to my shop. There were NO issues, overheating, noises, vibrations. The last picture with the fender, headlights and bumper installed is how you will receive the car. You can see in the close-up with the fender off that there is no damage to the fender frame. The passenger front door opens and closes fine, however it will have to be re-aligned.
It IS driveable! I see no reason you would not be able to jump in this car and drive anywhere.
One of the glove box hinges is broken. The headlights show a little fogging and the passenger seat has some water staining, someone had to spill something. I have treated and conditioned the seat and it is slowly getting better. Otherwise the interior in near perfect.
I have gone to great lengths to be sure everything works as it should on this car. It was purchased from a local dealer with a bad engine and instead of finding a replacement I rebuilt the original. I originally intended to sell it as "buy the engine and you get the car for free" but the more I repaired the more I saw this is a great car. I thoroughly enjoyed driving it for the time I had it but I have nine cars and some have got to go. I have described this vehicle to the best of my ability, if you have any specific concerns please let me know. There are of course minor bumps scratches, dings to be expected on any car over 10 years old.
I am happy to answer any questions you might have as fast as humanly possible. I encourage you to inspect the vehicle before bidding, I am flexible with scheduling viewings.
Thanks for looking and have a great day! !
