Beautiful and Extremely Rare (Chromaflair Cyan Purple Paint) 2003 Volkswagen Beetle GLX Turbo 2 Door Coupe.
This Beetle is extremely rare (only a few hundred were imported to the U.S.), loaded with all options available for that model year, and was a special edition in 2003. The Beetle is painted chromaflair cyan-puple (it goes from a silvery blue to a purple pink depending on the light). I"ve owned the car since Jan 2009, in VA (w/very little snow or road salt exposure). Speed activated rear spoiler, black leather heated seats, pwr sunroof, pwr door locks, pwr windows & brakes, air conditioning, cruise control, cassette player with Monsoon system. Never smoked in. Owner"s manual present. VW switchblade key. I have maintenance records for review. It was inspected in August and had the oil changed this month. 101,375 miles. VIN is 3VWDD21C63M421911.

Driver"s door interior panel needs work - I haven"t tried to glue lining and the inner handle pulls away at the top. There"s a section of the lower front bumper/grille that was loose, so it"s zip-tied to stop the rattle. The car had clear paint protection film installed on several panels before I bought it. Over time, moisture got under the sections at the front of the car. The detail shop said this will disappear when the old film is removed, but I haven"t done that. The headliner has come loose in the passenger rear corner. The windows are tinted the legal amount for VA. The windshield also has some tinting - not sure if that"s legal for your state. The window film is non-metallic so it does not disrupt the electronics of navigation, cell phone, XM satellite radio, etc. The car is in good shape for its age, but it has some minor surface scratches/dings.
I love this car - it"s zippy and fun to drive. Very fast pick up and the rear spoiler action is cool. I get comments all the time on the paint, where people think it"s a custom job. Great handling in turns, too.
