* *FOR LOCAL PICK UP IN KANSAS CITY ONLY* * I have a 2003 Charcoal Grey Camry SE for sale. It"s a great looking car and still runs well. I just recently got a newer car with more features.
The Good: I have recently had the throttle body replaced (have paperwork to prove it). Water pump replaced recently (have paperwork for this too). The break pads and tires have lots of life left on them. Wheels have a good amount of tread left on them. I have lots of paperwork of the work done to this car over the last 5 years i have had it. Engine runs strong, car still gets good gas mileage. A/C blows cold and heat is hot Body is in good condition, no rust (other than the driver side door which was due to someone backing into me, see photo). Transmission shifts fine and i have had zero issues with it. JBL premium sound system, has spoiler, factory tinted windows, nice alloy wheels. I have custom installed parking sensors which tell you how close you are to someone when backing up, it has a sensor in meters and also makes a beep (see photo). All the floor mats and trunk mats are original. Key-less entry. Auto-dimming mirror with a built in compass. Has a Moon/Sun roof (it both slides back and can pop up). Has hookups for Sirius XM radio.
There are a few quirks, full disclosure: It will need the rotors turned or replaced eventually, the break pads have plenty of life left but the rotors are ever so slightly warped. My mechanic said it is not that big of an issue as of now but they will eventually need to be either turned or replaced. As you can tell from the photo someone backed up into the driver side door. I am pretty sure it can be repaired for ~700 or replaced for about 250-400 if you do it yourself. The door locks but you cannot open it from the outside as the door handle is broken, however the car locks fine from the inside / with the key-less entry. Car leaks some oil on highway speeds, i was told it was going to be about $250 for my mechanic to fix it. If you go about 2000 miles you"ll need to put about 1.5 qts of oil in it. Wheels make a clunking sound when I turn sharp, i don"t know what that is. CD player has never worked since i have owned this car, not sure why. The back two windows don"t roll down anymore, I am not sure why but it could be something like a blow fuse?
This car is sold AS-IS! I have been completely up front about it.
