This elegant XK8 is fully equipped. Engine, all electrical and mechanical systems are operating as they should. A/C blows ice cold, heated seats warm up very well when needed. The convertible soft top is like new, always garaged, no tears and does not leak. Convertible top operates easily without issues with one touch of a button. All the power windows wind up and down smoothly. 6 CD changer, radio and sound system are all operating as they should. The Burl walnut wood dashboard has no scratches.
The 4.2 liter engine purrs and drives like it just got off from the showroom floor. Engine is powerful and strong with great throttle response. There are no strange noises coming from the engine compartment. The transmission shifts smooth through all gears with no issues. The suspension is nice and firm without any noises like a low mileage XK8 should be. The power steering works great and has no issues. The brakes are spot on. Autocheck shows one minor accident reported. Someone must have touched the car and the first owner called the police. Was told by the first owner it was a minor touch to the car. 2nd owner owned for 9 years, never an accident.
A non-smoker car, none of any unwanted strange smells or perfumes in the interior. Very clean. The paint is very brilliant and not dull. It shines and still retains a reflective gloss of a new car. Always garaged. Have never seen snow. The wheels shine. The leather seats are supple, no tears, shrinkage or cracks. The back seats are virtually like new.
