Vehicle description
Here is my 2003 Honda S2000. It’s finished in Sebring Silver Metallic with Red interior. One of 223 cars in this color combo. It has 115k and runs exceptionally well with zero mechanical issues. This was a southern car it’s whole life, so it has no corrosion whatsoever, top or bottom. All undercarriage bolts are shiny and gold, as well as under the hood. No kind of oil leaks of any kind. The car is absolutely bone stock and has always been that way.
A full service was just performed including ALL fluids using Honda OEM materials. This includes the trans and Honda blue coolant, and the correct OEM S2k specific oil filter. A new slave cylinder and battery were just installed as well. The trans shifts perfectly, the motor is super quiet, the Vtec engages properly. The brakes were done with StopTech Ecoated rotors and Hawk HP Plus pads. It has new all season tires on the factory wheels. A set of brand new staggered offset Enkei RPF1’s with Bridgestone RE71 tires are available as well, but not included in this auction.
ALL body panels are original with the exception of the front and rear bumpers. They were replaced due some minor scrapes and imperfections, so they are fresh and unmarred. All VIN tags are in place on all other panels. The top is original and in great shape, and functions as it should. The headlights and tail lights are bright and shiny with no cloudiness or yellowing as is common with in cared for cars. They look exceptional.
The interior is very nice, with some expected wear on the drivers seat. It’s very bright still with no fading or any other major defects. The carpet is very clean with the proper red floor mats. It has a new Honda shift knob, but the original goes with the car. Everything operates as normal. A blue tooth stereo was installed for phone connectivity. Overall the interior is very clean with no disappointments.
This car is mechanically stout with no problems of any kind. It’s ready to go. This is not a $25k S2000. It’s also not a $7500 S2000. It falls in the middle. It’s unmolested, clean, rust free, and can be enjoyed with zero guilt knowing the value will not decrease as its being driven. These cars are super fun to drive and can be enjoyed to it’s fullest potential on the street. Yes, the car has some miles, but they have been well maintained miles. The second owner had the car for over 10 years and put the majority of miles on the car. It has a great car fax and has never had any accidents.
