My father"s company leased this new. Purchased by my father, this Ford Windstar SE has been well maintained and regularly serviced professionally. Platinum Spark plugs and wires have been replaced earlier and all oil changes since leased have been done every 3,000 miles (Synthetic). 165,500 miles. Transmission torque converter was also replaced with only 25,000 miles! Super smooth touring/camping/work or travel van. Super reliable vehicle, very well maintained and reliable for work, family or cross country travel!
Ford Windstar SE, Loaded with Dual A/C and Dual Heat Climate interior controls. Seats 7 passengers, 4 Captain chairs and 1 Bench seat, all can be removed and the interior has 10 feet of interior length for practical moving or used as work van. Interior is tan cloth/carpeting throughout.
3.8L V6 Engine producing 200 hp! and 22 Mpg. Smooth transmission and engine in excellent mechanical condition. Cruise control, power windows, locks, SONY CD High Fidelity Stereo and 8 speaker custom wooden box with 6x9, etc. and Sony Sub-woofer (Sub has never been powered up), heavy speaker wiring hookup. The Sony Stereo CD, Sub/Speaker system and harness alone are worth $750.00 installed in 2015.
REESE TOW PACKAGE installed. Wiring installed for trailers!
Bodywork on rear Quarter panel repair completed (Aluminum skin, Urethane), could use Maaco body and paint work on the Quarter panel to match the original paint. Overall the body looks great!
2015 serviced included: NEW full suspension (Macpherson struts and rear Shocks replaced), NEW full brakes (all disk/pads ans suspe replaced in 2015). A/C System blows cold in summer, Duel system was recharged with R34 refrigerant in August 2017. NEW Cabin air filter (12/29/2017), NEW engine filter 08/2017), NEW Everstart battery (Walmart 2/2017), New Synthetic oil changed at 3,000 mile interval as scheduled. New upstream 02 sensor on the exhaust system. Transmission fluid flushed professionally (Detroit 2016), Radiator/Full cooling flushed professionally in (Nova Scotia) 2015. We have also driven to Florida. The Windstar 7-passenger is a comfortable vehicle for long road trips, loads of storage room too!
Tires are 3 General Evertrek and 1 Michelin with decent tread, the Michelin is a year old, the General tires are 4 years old. All Season Tires are in decent condition, but new owner may wish to replace with NEW one. The emissions test was an issue and the reason we will sell to Michigan or non-Smog State as it was previously imported from Michigan/US customs - I can recommend paperwork and there shouldn"t be any issue importing back into Michigan. The engine runs clean/no leaks and the exhaust system is fine too, but it has Check engine light on. In Ontario, Canada it currently won"t pass E-Test and that"s the only reason for selling this awesome van!
