Lovingly nick-named Schleppy, this converted minibus has had a total makeover and is ready for its next adventure as a mini mobile home, food truck, or whatever you’d like to do with it.
Original artwork by Miami graffiti artist Aholsniffsglue, this bus is in great mechanical condition: it got new brakes, new tires, new suspension, and a thorough engine and under-carriage cleaning before embarking on its cross country journey. All that plus a rear-view camera installed. It has a 7.3L Power Stroke turbocharged diesel engine. According to PowerStrokeHub.com, this type of engine "has earned praise as one of the most popular engines offered in a pickup truck, its name synonymous with reliability and longevity."
The interior of the bus is entirely empty and ready for modifications. The driver and passenger side seat are all the remain, giving you a blank canvas to make it your own. Measurements:
Height = 6 feet, 7 inches
Width = 7 ft, 5 in
Length = 11 ft, 7 in
Additionally, there’s an added platform with railing on the roof with a folded ladder at the back for easy access - perfect for tailgating or enjoying the sunrise/sunset.
Back Story: this bus was purchased by my in-laws who moved to Mexico from Miami, FL in April of 2019. My father-in-law and husband drove it together over the course of 8 days and can attest that the engine is in great condition.
Since then, it’s moved and been used very little, awaiting its return to the USA (since my in-laws cannot sell it in Mexico).
