THE GOOD:
Already did the majority of a full tune up! *Suggest fuel filter to complete the tune up
CAR GETS UP TO SPEED WITH EASE!
NEW: Spark plugs, ignition coils, fuel injectors professionally cleaned, vacuum lines, breather hoses,
coolant lines for throttle body, cabin filter, serpentine belt, serpentine belt tensioner pulley, engine
flush, synthetic oil change, coolant reservoir.
New lower engine cover with new clips comes with this sale. New pre cat O2 sensor comes with this sale.
Tires are good - matching - 8/32 all around
Aftermarket headlights
the bad:
misfire on cylinder 6 - usually you feel nothing and car drives normally - every once in a while you will feel a rough idle but feel nothing when driving at speed. Service engine light will flash at times. O2 sensor should solve this.
interior needs detail - not gross but I like my leather interiors flawless and I haven"t had time to
clean it - rear passenger seat has small tear.
Floor mat and carpet on driver"s side is worn where the previous owner"s heel dug in
Info center digital readout in center of cluster lights up but no info displays - easy fix!
Convertible top only working manually at this time - not sure if it just needs to be reset.
There is a pulley whine but not sure which pulley - I am sure it is not timing related because there
is no noise when serpentine belt is off.
There is a sticker on the rear from previous owner - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
Back story:
M y baby girl loves the color gold - so when I saw this I naturally thought of her. . but she
expresses no interest in driving so I didn"t really get it for her.
I really want an all wheel drive or 4x4 car for her with no convertible top.
So. . PROJECT CAR! I t hought to put a 2.7t Audi engine in it but the research showed me $$$
would be a killer. Then of course baby girl has a change of heart and NOW WANTS A CAR!
So I start to take a look at this to see what would get it up to snuff since I already have it.
I started the maintenance but this is really not what I have in mind for my baby.
I think this may be too "BLING" for a 1st car (She would be so mad - but she doesn"t know!)
