Vehicle description
This could be your 02 Jaguar XKR!
Milage 111,xxx. Signed by Richard Rawlings of Gas Monkey Garage, a hit show on Discovery Channel. not that I think it makes the car more valuable but it"s pretty cool! This one being a hard top makes it pretty special because most of them sold in the US we"re convertibles.
Everything works on this car, ice cold A/C, no check engine lights ,new tires, new timing chain, new supercharger bearings, many replaced seals, gaskets, coolant hoses all the way around including supercharger, new plugs and wires. I had the fuel Purge system replaced a couple of years ago, I"ve had two of the six exhaust silencers removed for a more modern throaty sound which it totally achieves in style. Over the last two years it"s been sitting in my garage because of another car I"ve been working on but I do start it every month and drive it to the corner store and back I keep a trickle charger on the battery so it"s always charged it starts perfect every time. The hood vents were custom made by Mina Gallery, also the air intake is from Mina Gallery.
I believe the front struts and or shocks need to be replaced as when I go over speed bumps it feels a little soft, last year when I had the oil changed I also had the oil pan gasket replaced but it is leaking a little I don"t think they tightened the bolts enough.
As you can see in one of the pictures it has brand new keys and brand new FOB"S, I am a 3M graphic installer and I put a 3M wrap over the front nose cone to protect it from Rock chips it is black and color and you can barely notice it"s there but also looks very cool, I blacked out side markers but are still fully functional and at night time you would never know. also I had the windows tinted pretty dark all the way around. This car runs absolutely beautiful and is very fast. The desirability level of this car is very high and in years to come will continue to appreciate in value, I would like to keep it myself but with other projects in the way it"s just sitting in the garage and I know someone would love to have this car and take care of it. Thanks, and good luck! I have a video on YouTube of it in the driveway, I"m trying to share the link on here but can"t seem to figure out how to do it. If you go to YouTube and look up 2002 jaguar xkr, you should be easily able to find it. This car runs beautifully, is one heck of an attention-getter, it sounds great and it looks great, this one is definitely one of the better ones despite its had 5 owners, it shows that all of us took care of it
