Vehicle description
This Jag is in very good condition and has been well cared for with regular maintenance its entire life. In other words, all maintenance is up to date and this car is ready to be driven. If anything, the car has been “over maintained” to prevent future problems, not just fix current ones. It drives and looks great and is being sold for less than the cost of many mechanical upgrades done since 2015. Since that time it has had over $12,000 in maintenance upgrades and new parts to keep it in prime driving condition. New/replaced items over the past two years include but are not limited to: timing chain and tensioners; rear brake pads and rotors w/brake fluid flush; front and rear shocks; front crank seal and oil pan gasket; suspension dampers; harness lead; wishbone bushing; spring assister; anti roll bar bushing. In addition, all four wheels were completely refurbished. The driver"s seat had some color wear on the entry side and was professionally re-died where needed to exactly match the factory color. You cannot tell where the seat was re-died. The paint is in very good condition, with some limited rock chips professionally repaired. This car is in amazing condition, far above average for other vehicles in this age group (both mechanically and cosmetically). It was purchased from the well-known F-40 Motorsports in Portland, CT, and reflects the high standards represented by this famous collector car dealership. It is a joy to drive, a true Jag with plush leather and beautiful real wood, this grand tourer is fast and nimble yet comfortable for long road trips. The car has always been garage kept, and appears to have never been smoked in. It smells as a jag should, of fine leather, and there are no signs that the ash tray has ever been used. The electric tilt and telescoping steering wheel make it ease to get in and allow you to find the perfect driving position. Heated driver and passenger seats take the bite off those cold mornings, and satellite navigation will help get you where you"re going with ease. Does it drive and look like a new car - No. Only a new car does. It is, however, well above average for a car of its age. This is one of those great vehicles that has been obsessively taken care of. It does have a small crack in the wood on the dash (so unnoticeable that it cannot be seen in the photos) and there is some minor pitting and one small repaired chip in the original windshield-which again cannot be seen in the photos and is common for a 15 year old vehicle that has not been locked away. This beauty has been lovingly driven and cared for and is one of those cars you will regret NOT buying!
