The 5-speed variant of the Elantra is a true sleeper. .very quick and nimble.
The Good. . New in last 10,00 miles. .Alternator, Clutch, Timing Belt, matched-set of 4 Kumho"s, Exide Battery, Front Brake Rotors, Oil Change in 6/17. Power Sunroof and windows work flawlessly.
Engine is quick, responsive and SILENT. Runs better than when new. .no lie.
Cosmetics. . Dimples from hail on hood and trunk lid and a little on the roof. Dent on right-side doors caused by a Handicapped sign sneaking up on me. .still have trim strips in trunk. Key sctrach on drivers side rear quarter. Rust in driver side Rocker Panels which is fixable, they tell me.
Mechanical. . Power lock actuator needs replacement if desired. Driver door latch needs to be re-connected. .watched the YouTube video on this and only got frustrated!
