Vehicle description
This is the second and last time I am listing this car. Only selling to focus on other projects, do not need the money. If it does not sell I"ll just keep it so bid to win because it will not be for sale again.
I have owned this car since 2005 when it had 22,600 miles and it has been maintained per the owners manual maintenance schedule since with the exception of the motor oil which has been changed every 6,000 miles with full synthetic (Honda recommends oil changes every 7,500 miles with conventional oil).
The only modifications the car had until about 3500 miles ago were Tein coil overs, carbon fiber radiator cooling plate, drilled and slotted brake rotors, steel braided brake lines, aftermarket fiberglass hard top with Honda glass and the convertible top frame was removed.
About 3500 miles ago we installed a Vortech supercharger kit with V-2 SC compressor and 11 lb pulley, RC 1000 cc injectors with impedence box, after market fuel pressure regulator, Haltech Platinum Pro Plug-In stand alone ECU, 3 bar MAP sensor, Haltech wide band with auto tune and gauge, Auto meter boost gauge, Skunk2 70mm throttle body with port matched intake manifold, Hondata intake manifold spacer, aftermarket header and test pipe, Borla exhaust and the clutch was replaced with a Stage 2 clutch. At that time the car was tuned to 340 whp and 207 ft/lbs tq on 11 lbs boost. Also installed aftermarket radio, JL audio stealth box, amp and 6.5 inch speakers behind the seats. All of the audio was stolen from the car minus the 6.5 inch speakers behind the seats.
About 500 miles ago I had the Tein coil overs overhauled by Tein, changed the used V-2 SC compressor to a new V-2 Ti compressor with a 18 lb pulley, installed a Ballade Sport heavy duty timing chain tensioner (replaced the OEM one twice since I"ve owned the car), and replaced the battery. Made an appointment to have it dyno"d but never made it. The car hydroplaned rear end first into a concrete barrier and the air bags DID NOT deploy. The doors open and close as they always have and I drove the car home 25 miles. Other than being louder in the cabin due to the exhaust tips being bent from the impact, the car drove normal. My mechanic and I estimate the car was making over 400 whp with the new compressor.
Cons: Car now has a salvage title, boost gauge reads intermittently (needs to to moved to another location on the intake manifold), since the accident the tach does not register RPM (lights up on start up but not while driving), wide band does not display Fuel/Air ratio since the wreck.
The car is located in Reno, NV and is sold AS IS WHERE IS, BUYER RESPONSIBLE FOR PICK UP OR SHIPPING. Will come with a JL Audio stealth box which is brand new never installed in the box, the original radio (not installed), owners manual, service manual on a thumb drive, tuning software for the Haltech, OEM ECU and whatever spare parts I can find.
