You can hear this one coming down the road! The whine of the Procharger, the roar of the engine. .this new edge flat out turns heads, and its an authentic Saleen Speedster! Car number 02-0481 10,600 miles! This car still has the new car smell inside! The miles may go up slightly, I am planning on attending a car show coming up. 1 of 1! This Saleen S281 has several unique things about it. First its in the registry, and have a letter of authenticity (picture attached), stating the car is 1 of 1 from Saleen. The car is ProCharged, stage 2, the highest stage, with a 3 core intercooler. Car recently gone through by experienced tech, runs great. currently set for a modest 8lbs of boost 450-475 horsepower.
I have a new set of Y rated ZR18 tires mounted, with only 100 miles on them. . I was beginning to worry about the age of the factory originals, I do have the originals.
The car has a modern touchscreen radio in it, with USB. The harness is plug and play, and if the buyer wishes, I will re-install the OEM 6 disc head unit.
Custom under hood insulator for it to show better. Has embroidered pony trunk mat. Bolt on strut hood lift to show off the engine, prop rod delete with Saleen shroud. You wanna win car shows, here is your Huckleberry.
Fresh Full Synthetic Mobil 1 oil change, and procharger oil change. Fresh NGK plugs, as Procharger recommends every 10,000 miles.
I do not have the Speedster rear seat cover. Car is in excellent condition as evidenced by the extremely low mileage, its not perfect, its 15 years old. Biggest issue is window tint is not 100% perfect. The car being procharged does throw the engine light for mass airflow sensor sometimes, only to later shut it off. .so the light bulb has been removed as it is a hot rod, and runs great, I will have the bulb re-installed if buyer wishes. Original factory window sticker included.
* * Here is another unique thing, it has a clear Illinois title, it is titled as a Ford, Model Saleen S281 . Most are titled as Mustang Gt"s, so insurance wise, you may have a hard time, not with this car. . or if you go to get a loan. . the bank will actually loan you on it.* * Call or text 217-460-0619 for details.
