Paste link into a browser window: [isdntekvideo] For sale by a private party is this RARE (1 of possibly 120) and LOW MILEAGE (14,000) 2002 Titanium Silver BMW E39 M5 with a DINAN installed S2 package. This BMW has been garaged all its life, has NEVER been raced, abused, had any paint touch up done, or in any accidents (Carfax provided upon request). It is in EXCELLENT condition. On a scale of 1 to 10 with 10 being perfect, it is a solid 9. NO TRADES CASH ONLY Originally purchased in Texas and then shipped directly to Steve Dinan at The DINAN company in Opelika, AL for the complete S2 performance package (see below for modifications). The S2 package was approximately $36,000 in addition to the BMW M5 sticker price of over $74,000 (back in 2002). According to Car & Driver (C&D) magazine from Nov, 2002, the factory BMW E39 M5 DOHC (dual overhead cam) 5.0L engine puts out 394 h.p.@ 6600 rpm and 386 ft/# of torque @ 3800 rpm. With the DINAN S2 package the h.p. is upped to 481 @ 6900 rpm & 419 ft/# of torque at 5000 rpm! C&D claims 0-60 mph times of 4.1 sec. and 0-100 mph in 10 sec and a top speed of 185 mph! Included with this BMW M5 are all of the manuals and instructions, original window sticker, and a car cover. The only ‘blemishes’ on the car are (1) a scrape located on the driver’s side upper rear quarter panel and (2) “dimple” above the passenger side front door handle. (see photos) Selling due to having too many toys.
