Vehicle description
For auction 225 HP 2002 AUDI TT, clear and clean title. Car only has had 2 owners. Body is a 6.8 out of 10 264,000 miles – well over half the miles are highway miles. 6-disc cd changer, heat and ac work fine. Heated Leather seats work fine as well. Owners manual included. I have used this car as a commuter in the 7 years that I have owned it to go to Kenosha and back to Milwaukee. The transmission needs to be rebuilt because it misses when quickly accelerating. It has been missing for the last 2 years, but I just use the car to commute and not race, so for me it functions fine as a commuter. The car still shifts very very nicely, and the clutch should last for a while still, I never raced or pounded on the car, the issues really revolve around 15 years of wear and tear, which are evident. I always used use fully synthentic oil 5w-30 with this car. spare tire is included. * * FRONT brakes and rotors were replaced in February and I have brand new rear brakes and rotors that I will give to the buyer for free. List of issues with the car are below. Car has 1 key only Car does not lock. Driver’s window does not roll down all the time, so best to leave it up, because if it goes down, it doesn"t always roll up Passanger window needs to be reset, it rolls up 97% of the way up. This happens off and on with the passenger window. Door latches on both sides need to be replaced, as they are tricky to get fully shut Rear hatch covering/fabric on the inside is mostly peeling off Gas gage is off and when the car shows it is at 50% of a tank, it is empty. LED display is not legible Check engine, light, brake light, ABS lights are all on…. I have driven the car like that for the last 2 years. The check engine light is on because the transmission needs to be rebuilt Windshield has a crack in it. Front plastic grill has a crack Front license plate holder is missing. 2 years ago I hit a curb on the side, no body damage occurred, but passage air bag was deployed. small areas of rust are starting in the area of the lower driver and passenger doors I put leather conditioner on the seats 2-3 times a year, so overall the seats are in ok shape. The passenger seat does have a small 1 inch slit that I sealed with crazy glue 2 years ago and it has NOT gotten any bigger. I know someone who owned this same car and got to 327,000 miles on it. I have driven this car as is across the country 5 months ago and I drive this to Kenosha and back 5 days a week and even with all the stated problems, I trust this car to function well. During this auction, I am driving from Milwaukee to Kenosha everyday. I was originally planning to drive this car until December this year, but got a great deal on another car that I couldn"t pass up.
