Vehicle description
2002 Aston Martin DB7 Vantage Volante. 6.0L V12 Engine with Automatic Transmission. California car since new with 3 previous owners. Clean Autocheck history and clean California title in hand. The DB7 is such a great value in the world of exotics right now and is a guaranteed "future classic" thanks to its massive 6.0L V12 engine and timeless Ian Callum design. I am sadly selling this DB7 due to lack of garage space. I purchased the car last year from a seller in California and have not gotten around to registering or driving the car. The car is in good overall condition, but it does have some flaws that are typically for a 15 year old exotic. The car does run and drive strong and the convertible top functions flawlessly. The car"s paint is cosmetically very nice, with just a few very small dents and scratches. The car needs a new battery and currently needs to be jump started, as a result the radio code needs to be entered (I have not found the code in the vehicle). The windshield has a chip near the VIN plate and a 6" crack near the passenger side wiper. The front of the car seems to have had a 3M or similar clear coating in the past to protect the bumper and headlights. The coating is peeling off and doesn"t look very nice on close inspection. Inside the car, the driver"s seat has typical bolster wear. There is a small crack in the carbon fiber near the shifter, and the dash has some saggy leather on top of the instrument binnacle. The engine always fires right up when jump started. There is a small amount of top-end tapping sound from the engine, which from research seems to be a typical high-mileage DB7 V12 issue. I have driven the car around in the parking lot of my garage and have not seen the speedometer move, so it might need attention. The Autocheck history shows that the car"s mileage increased 150+ miles in the 1-2 month time span before I bought the car, so this is a recent issue possibly caused during transport. For a bit of good news - the air conditioning does work well. The car includes both a factory car cover and a tonneau cover. The interior is a 2-tone blue/tan with Recaro bucket seats. The interior trim has carbon fiber on the dash and seude-like material on the roof and The stereo is a Becker cassette up front and a CD changer in the trunk. The car has a parking sensor system that beeps when reversing near objects. Please email with any questions!
