2001 Toyota Solara Convertible - This was purchased for my wife as an engagement gift and given to her son when we married and I purchased a newer Convertible for her as a wedding gift. Her son was a college student and preschool teacher who used it for school and work only since July 2017, and drove it very conservatively and just bought a newer compact car after finishing college.
The engine runs very well, has no leaks or "check engine" warning lights. - I replaced the air conditioner compressor, Serpentine belt and front brakes and a new battery in July. - 4 Goodyear Eagle Sport tires have less than 3000 miles on them.
Body is rust free with a few small scratches associated with age of car. Convertible top is in very good shape. Rear window "popped" out this past fall when my son didn"t put the top down correctly. Glass is in 1 piece, not broken or cracked and is place but needs to be more permanently secured.
Interior is Dark Grey /Black leather and is in very good condition. Only thing is a missing seat belt guide on the passenger side. ( probably $10-$15 new).
Power windows, locks, and drivers seat all work perfectly. Convertible top goes up and down as it should and does not leak, with no rips/tears. (Appears to have been replaced at some point) Exhaust is solid and noise/leak free. Non smoker/non pet car is free of interior stains and odors.
Overall car is in pretty good shape for a 17 year old car and passed CT emissions in March, which is still valid. We used it as just a fun summer car and son used it as a daily driver 100 miles a week or so. I have described it honestly and to the best of my ability. Please ask any questions you may have BEFORE making offers or buying, as car is being sold AS IS with no warranty expressed or implied. Photos were taken in March, but car is pretty much the same except rear window issue.
Car is located in Leesburg VA, 25 minutes to Dulles airport. I will pick up buyer at airport and I can assist with loading if shipping. I can possibly also provide shipping at a fair price depending on buyers location.
