Vehicle description
I am selling my 2001 Toyota Corolla, as I no longer need it to get around. I have made repairs that will keep the car running for a long time, but I can"t justify having a car when I get most places by bike. The car was smog checked less than 90 days ago, and I have the verification. It gets about 30 mpg highway.
New Parts:
1. Interstate MT35 battery installed in May
2. Tires replaced one year ago
3. Front struts replaced in April, back struts replaced in late August
4. Spark plugs changed in August
5. One ignition coil replaced in August
6. Serpentine Belt replaced in July
7. Tires rotated in July
8. Brand new alternator just installed
9. Last oil change done 500 miles ago
Things that will need maintenance:
1. The brakes will need to be replaced soon
2. Before the next smog check (2 years from now), the vapor pressure sensor will need to be replaced
The car has spent most of its life in Minnesota, which means that it has more rust than most cars you will find in California. There is only one bad rust spot, which is the drivers side rear wheel well. Some of the paint there has bubbled, but I have been able to keep the rust from spreading for the past year pretty easily with some rust inhibitor applied once a month or so. As I mentioned before, the car will run well for years to come, and there are no major repairs that need to be made.
