Great car! I bought it brand new in 2001 and fell in love with it - It is a terrific car, 30 miles/gallon city and up to 35 highway. - no issues what so ever! - 178k miles, mostly highway (drove to Dayton daily for 5 years) Very clean interior - no damage anywhere. . seats in great condition. All electric parts work nicely.
Extras that came with it: - Cruise Control - Moonroof - power locks/windows/mirrors — alarm with remote control lock/unlock buttons. - automatic transmission - fog lights - alloy wheels - ABS - - Fog light
PARTS THAT WERE REPLACED WITHIN 1 year (have all the receipts to prove it!): - New Michelin 90K-miles tires - Denso fuel injectors - Denso ignition coils. . spark plugs - Denso MAF (mass air flow) sensor - Denso TPS (throttle position sensor) - ! 4 Monroe top of the line shock absorbers! - new sway bar linkages - new brake pads (all 4 wheels) - HD low beam. nice white bright color - hatchback gate seal ($85) - hatchback gate gas springs - new Denso fuel pump - new battery - new serpentine belt - power lock actuators (both doors) new. - Hitch receiver. . used it for my bicycle carrier. You can tow up to 2000 lbs trailer.
Engine oil changed every 4K miles with full synthetic oil. Transmission works perfectly; engine as powerful as new.
As you can see, I planned to keep the car (that"s why I spent over 3k in parts, not including my own labor). I"m an engineer and took great care of this car. Selling it because I"m moving overseas.
PLEASE do the research on Celicas before contacting me. Open to bring your own mechanic and run any tests you like.
Passenger door has a superficial dent (caused when the car was only 6 months old) never bothered to repair it. The only negative thing is the paint - discoloration and pealing off of protective coat - you can have a paint job if you mind - for me it didn"t matter - the car still turns heads. I removed the spoiler. . may be able to locate it and put it back if you want it.
