Vehicle description
Car of your dreams*
*some assembly required
This is a lovely Toyota Avalon L from 2001. It has around 150000 miles on it, might be up near 160000, I don"t remember. This car runs, but it leaks oil. If you wanted to, you could fix everything but the rear main seal leak for pretty cheap. It probably could use a transmission flush too.
So IT LEAKS OIL. FAST. There"s also a leak near the master cylinder for the brake fluid. Don"t say I didn"t warn you. If you keep it filled with oil, it"s great. It runs nice and smooth. Cassette player doesn"t work but the CD player works just fine. No AUX cord input.
If you want this car, prepare to put some work into it, but if you do, it could run for a while. Good parts, good car. Spare tire needs a new valve stem. Front left tire is new, probably needs a matching one on the front right. Willing to discuss price due to condition of the car. I"m honest up front. I included in the pictures the transcript from my talk with the shop. It needs a new VVT solenoid in addition to fixing the leaks. My wife and I don"t need a second car so it"s not worth repairing it. But for someone who needs a car, this won"t cost you a ton up front. For around 3 grand total you could have a sweet car in great shape. Hell, if you want to pay me the three grand (ish), I"ll go get it fixed for you in advance! And then you can have it all put together, ready to go, good as new.
Anyway, it"s a nice smooth ride. Some interior damage to that center console but whatever. It"s a reliable car, not a fancy car. Hit me up for details.
SHIPPING: If you live close I can get the car towed to you as part of the sale. Or I can tow it to a shop where you can get the work done. Willing to discuss this.
