The care was in my possession in 2008 (Branford CT), I purchased a recycled radiator from a licensed Saab mechanic and that is what the "damage" is about- not on the car itself but related to a recycled radiator. · “Viggen”
A high-powered version of the 9-3 was the Viggen (Swedish for"thunderbolt"), named after the Saab Viggen aircraft. It is nolonger in production. It came with a 2.3 L turbo, 230 hp ECE(169 kW) Acceleration from 0-100 km/h could be reached in 6.4 seconds and the top speed is 249 km/h. To handle the high power and performance the following elements were changed/modified: heavy duty clutch and pressure plate, stiffened and lowered springs, firmer dampers, stronger CV joints and driveshafts. In addition to extra power and torque, it also featured a special rear wing (increasing the downforce by 50%. The Viggen was created for performance seeking Saab enthusiasts and remains very desirable among Saab enthusiasts. Motoring journalists were widely critical of untamed torque steer in low gears.
