Unfortunately have to let go of this car.
There is a lot of great things to appreciate about this car but also some things that need attention. Still drives but would recommend work very soon. What"s good is that the parts for this car are mostly the same as blazers and easy/cheap to come by.
Great things about this car:
It"s the best car I"ve ever driven in the snow. It has tires just over a year old. Beautiful exterior, cleans up nicely. Crisp sound system. New alternator and battery in recent history. Good engine. Good condition black leather power seats with heat. All wheel drive. Towing package (although I"ve never used). Passed CT emissions only a few months ago.
Everything that needs care disclosed (brought to mechanic before listing):
Front control arms need replacing; This is the biggest issue.
Air conditioning is whacky; Would need work on the blend door actuator.
Tape player out of commission; There is a tape stuck in the player Rear defroster and wiper fluid; Wire connection onto window needs to be soldered. Pipe connection for fluid to back window
needs help. Needs new muffler; Louder than it should be. Door on driver side hinges strangely These issues may be the reason for an oscillating noise. I have been driving it around town with no problem since these issues have been brought to my attention but have also been gentle with it.
A lot of work has been put into it recently. It has a fairly new alternator, brake pads/rotors, tires, and more
