Selling a 2001 Mitsubishi Eclipse. The car has 163969 miles on it. The car is located in Berkeley/ Oakland, CA. Title status is clean.
The car drives very well. The battery is fairly new (replaced in 2014). The car still has valid emissions. AC is not working, do not know the reason for it. Maybe needs recharging, maybe bigger issue.
The car was brought to CA from the east coast, so there is substantial rusting. However, rear shocks are new (replaced in 2014). Tires (Continental PURECONTACT WITH ECOPLUS TECHNOLOGY - the best available tire) are in good condition, they have about 10,000 miles on them.
The "Check Engine" light is lit. It shows the following errors.

P0135 Those are all minor things, two sensors but the car is with my daughter and she cannot replace them herself. Flying across the country to fix those issues does not make sense.
There are some dents and scratches to the exterior. See photos for details. Because of the dents to the front driver"s side, the driver"s door doesn"t open all the way, but it opens wide enough to easily enter/exit the car (see the last picture). It"s not a major issue but causes the door not to stay open. T he lock mechanism on the drivers door works fine (you can lock it and unlock it but cannot unlock it with the key from outside, unlocking the passenger door unlocks the whole vehicle.
Car fax report lists three accidents by the previous owner, I have no information how serious those accidents were. For us the car has been pretty reliable and fun, the only unfortunate thing was that dent caused by someone on the parking lot. If you are looking at this item, it means that you know that Eclipse of those years is one of the best fun car for the money, it is really sporty but it is just a 4 cylinder car and is good on gas.
