No A/C or power steering Fenders have been opened / modified to accept larger tires.
The car does have nicks and scratches reflecting its life as a street / track car.
Pull the decals off and you have a great daily driver. Miata handling with Acura power plant reliability. Leave them on and you have an outstanding track / autocross car.
This car is 100% street legal.
This car has competed in several One Lap of America"s If you are not familiar with it, OLOA has been called one of the toughest auto events in the U.S. The event consist of legal transits around parts of the U.S and several short timed events at different race tracks. The event goes anywhere from 3500 -5500 miles in one week. You need a dependable car to drive to each event as you drive the car that you compete in. The last 40k miles on this car have been approx. 39,500 street and 500 miles track. The last several years this car has been driven only for this event with several podium finishes in class.
Never driven during the winter and never wrecked.
This latest conversion with the Acura V6 engines would cost close to $10K to duplicate with the AEM computer, modified harness, rebuilt transmission, conversion kit, hoses, engine, all new bushings, ect. This does not even include the new wheels, 2nd set of wheels and tires, Koni Sports and springs, sway bars and numerous other upgrades. Ball joints, control arms, tie rods I replaced, not because they were worn, but I feel this is cheap insurance for reliability and safely. This car is ready to go.
I do have a few spare odds and ends that will go with the vehicle. After 12 years of owning this car, I am moving to a new project.
For sale locally so auction may end at any time.
