2001 Isuzu VehiCROSS. 9,200 miles. Perfect inside and out. Ziebart rust proofed. Everything works. No scratches, no dings, perfect cladding. Interior perfect. Mechanically perfect. The Isuzu VehiCross was introduced as an auto show prototype in 1993 and was quickly put into production. Built in limited numbers, body panels were formed with ceramic dies to reduce production costs. Based on a Isuzu Trooper RS 2 door chassis, it utilized a 215 horsepower 3.5 L DOHC 24V V6 sourced from Honda. Initially sold only in Japan in 1997, it was introduced into the US as a 1999 model and ran through the 2001 model year. A total of about 6,000 were produced over the production run with about 4,200 imported to US. It had an innovative drive system called "Torque on Demand" which would automatically shift power from rear wheel drive to progressively increase power to front wheels up to a 50/50 split front/rear depending on conditions. It also has mode switches for winter and power. There is a 6 CD changer, AM/FM stereo, power windows, AC, and a 2 speed transfer case. Factory Recaro leather front seats with sliding thigh bolsters. .(see front passenger seat photo). Rear leather seat backs fold forward independently or the entire rear seat will rotate forward. Space saving spare in rear door. This VehiCROSS is in immaculate condition. Everything is like new. Just under 9,200 miles.
