Vehicle description
I have decided to sell the most favorite vehicle I have ever owned. You could be the proud owner of a one owner 2001 Red HUMMER Wagon. It is 16 years old so there is some rust, the clear coat needs touched up. I will try and wash it today, its 60 degrees here in Ohio. A little background on my 2001 Red Hummer Wagon. I bought the truck with 20K miles from the factory (AMG). It was used by AMG for business and rotated out of the fleet after the 20K mile mark. The Hummer was my everyday driver until last year. I"m getting old and tired of ripping the crouch out of all my pants. It currently has 174540 miles on it, which I have enjoyed every mile of. The Hummer is in great mechanical condition, you could leave for CA today if you choose. I don’t know if you have owned a Hummer already, they do require maintained more so than a regular vehicle. I just replaced the left rear caliper with a new factory caliper, and replaced the right front CTIS line, the crimped fitting was leaking air. Currently the ABS and TT4 light is on. When the caliper leaked down it tripped the lights. It requires a quick plug in to the ABS computer to clear the codes. The tachometer needle bounces when at neutral throttle, the mechanics at AMG tell me that it is the alternator, as it is where the tach picks up the rpm"s. The left rear window needs a new window switch. I usually keep these items up par, but after owning Hummers for 20 years I bought a motor home which is much funnier and a lot less work! The pictures show the Hummer as it is right now. Items that I notice, door hinge paint has faded, aluminum mirror mounts are oxidized, hood has a spider web crack on the corner. The pictures should show all these areas quite well. Remember, it is 16 years old, and now a collector’s item. I t also comes with a new spare wheel and tire that I usually have on the roof rack. The spare tire will be secured on the roof rack and ready for your next adventure. Please feel free to contact me with any questions.
