Vehicle description
This is a single-family, non-smoker vehicle that has been a daily commuter for 18 years. The engine oil has always been serviced around 5,000 mile intervals. This car is equipped with power windows, power locks (though no remote entry), cruise control, A/C, 5-speed manual transmission, driver and passenger airbags, and factory cassette deck with an aftermarket auxiliary input. It was in an accident and repaired around 11 years ago, and I have not experienced any issues related to this in the decade of driving it since then. There are a few creaks and rattles as to be expected from a car of this age, some interior wear and tear including a tear in one seam of the driver seat, a slight oil leak from the oil pan gasket, the front passenger window only goes down 3/4 of the way, and the radio display doesn"t work, but the car runs and drives great otherwise. The car was repainted December 2014, but the clear coat is flaking off at this point. There are a couple of minor dings, but no significant damage. This car is up to date on recalls.
Service: March 2010 - Replaced timing belt, water pump at 102,150 miles 2015ish - Replaced front brakes and rotors March 2015 - Replaced radiator and hoses July 2015 - Replaced thermostat, valve cover gasket May 2017 - Replaced front struts, lower control arms, lower ball joints May 2018 - Replaced tires - Michelin Defender T+H, replaced at 167,664 miles July 2018 - Replace transmission axle seals, driver side CV axle, transmission oil August 2018 - Replaced spark plugs May 2019 - Replaced battery July 2019 - Replaced cam position sensor, catalytic converter, alternator
