Vehicle description
2001 Yukon XL 2500 4WD
8.1L 496 Big Block
I"ve had several of these 8.1L suburbans, if you have a bunch of kids and heavy toys you probably know all about these.
This one have low miles, only 137,722
Seats 8, heated bucket seats in the front, bench seats middle and 3rd row.
Sunroof, A/C and heat both blow cold and hot
6" lift kit, 35" Toyo MT tires, 17x9 forged centerline wheels, the wheels used to be polished, now they are dull.
It runs pretty good, but having owned one prior to this I know it could run better. It could probably use a tune up.
the fuel pump died the day after Christmas, so it has a brand new Delphi fuel pump within the last 2 weeks.
It has airbags on the back axle with air valves mounted by the back license plate. Shifts in and out of 4 hi, 4 low, N, and 2wd like it should.
The problem with this truck. I bought it without looking it over very carefully, it was an impulse buy. I strive to be straightforward and honest and want you to know exactly what I know now. I wish the seller would have been this way with me.
The rear of the frame is bent. Reading the history report after the fact, it was bent by someone running into the back of it, probably with a drop hitch on. either way, if you want to tow something heavy. . like 10,000 lbs it"s going to need fixed by a frame shop or a competent welder/fabricator to be right. I"ve towed my 4,000 lb boat with it many times and haven"t had any issues at all. It still hauls plenty of stuff, but if you"re looking at it to be the biggest baddest rig to tow your giant travel trailer. . . understand it needs to be corrected to safely do this.
My previous 8.1 suburban I towed a 37" 10,000 lb trailer all over the northwest, it does it pretty easy. I have the factory hitch off of the previous suburban that will be included with it.
Clean and clear title in my name.
NO RESERVE
